Since the first round of my chemotherapy was divided over 3 weeks, after today’s Herceptin infusion, I can finally say my first round of chemo is officially OVER!!!!  Unfortunately, I have only one week until my next full round – which will include the full cocktail : Daxotaxoaddtext_com_MTY1MzQwMTY1Mjc5l, Carboplatin, Herceptin and Perjeta, hereinafter referred to as ‘the four horse drugs of the Apocalypse.”

I feel a little like I have one week to prepare for a marathon (not that I would know anything about actually doing THAT.)

But in the next six days, I’m supposed to get lots of sleep, eat well, exercise and drink lots of water. Shit!  If I found it easy to do all those 4 things I probably wouldn’t have gotten cancer in the first place.water

I don’t know why but I have a very difficult time drinking a ton of water. I think maybe I drowned in a former life.  I should be drinking about 70 ounces a day and I can’t stand the taste of it.  That said, it’s time to put on my big girl boots and jump in.

The facts is humans are 72% water – and its good for every organ, including your skin, for weight loss, for toxin removal, for just about everything.  So if you hear someone shloshing by, that will be me.  Think about shloshing with me!!
